Living Compass Faith & Wellness Notebook for Teens (Christian)

This colorful, spiral-bound, 88-page notebook is used in the Living Compass for Teens/Emerging Adults curriculum. In this notebook teens and emerging adults can assess their own wellness in eight interconnected areas (Spirituality, Stress Resiliency Relationships Rest and Play Handling Emotions, Organization, School and Work, and Care of the Body) by completing the Self-Assessment Tool, learn about what wellness looks like in each area, decide what changes they could make in their lives so they can help co-create the abundant life God desires for them, choose scripture verses to inspire them, and have a place to journal. This notebook can be used by individual teens on their own or in a pastoral relationship with a youth leader. It also makes an excellent Confirmation or graduation gift.

Living Compass Teen Faith & Wellness Facilitator Guide (Christian)

Inside this 5 1/2" x 11" paperbound book you will find 72 pages with step-by-step, easy to follow directions for using this 27-week faith and wellness curriculum with teens. This school year curriculum is broken down into eight units, each unit taking an in-depth look at one of eight areas of wellness in a teen's life. Each unit is made up of three lessons where teens and their adult leaders examine their lives by taking a self-assessment, discussing why wellness might be challenging in that area and learning about the wisdom they can glean from the Bible regarding each area of wellness. This curriculum encourages discussion about the very real challenges teens face in the 21st century and helps them discover how their Christian faith can be a guide as they make difficult decisions about how to live their lives every day.

The Teen Compass Wellness Notebook (Secular)

This colorful notebook provides a place where teens can assess their own wellness in eight, interconnected areas (Handling Emotions, Relationships, Care of the Body, Stress Resiliency, Rest and Play, Spirituality, Organization, and School and Work), learn about what they can do in each area to create more wellness in their lives, decide what changes they would like to make to become more healthy, answer reflective questions, and have a place to journal. It is meant to promote self awareness, to help teens realize that the choices they make each day are the building blocks of their adult life, and to empower them to make informed decisions that are in their long-term best interest.

Each person involved in a Teen Compass program needs a copy of this notebook.

This notebook can be used by teachers, tutors, therapists, counselors, after school programs, AODA counselors and individual teens.  It is appropriate for students in the 8th grade and above.
