Our Diesel/Trailer Mechanic has troubleshooting abilities in most areas, has a good understanding of components, blueprints, schematics, and service literature; is skilled in general welding and hot work and can prepare detailed repair or service orders on completed maintenance assignments.


Regularly, Sitting, Standing, Walking, Climbing/Balancing, Reaching/Pushing/Pulling, Stooping/Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling,  Lifting up to 5 lbs - 50 lbs

Preferred Degree/Diploma Obtained: High School Diploma
Program of Study: General Studies

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanics including welding, blueprints, hydraulics, electrical , electronics, clutches, power train, brakes, gasoline engines and diesel engines.  Employee must provide hand & power tools required to perform most jobs.

Preferred Certification/Licensure Requirements:

*Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License 
*Federal Brake Inspector Certification 
*Annual Inspector Certification
*Federal & State air conditioning certification
*ASE medium/heavy truck certification
