Underground Line and Cable Laborer

This position is responsible for installing and upgrading telecommunication networks. Travel throughout the United States is required.

The essential duties and responsibilities for the position include the following:

• Load, transport and unload materials to the job site.
• Clear debris for operator to use cable laying plow.
• Shovel dirt assisting operator in laying conduit.
• Feed cable off large reel into conduit.
• Ensure marker tape is visible when cable is laid in ground.

Qualified candidates must have two or more years of utility construction experience specific to fiber optics, willing to work 50 plus hours per week and capability to frequently lift heavy objects weighing greater than fifty pounds. Candidates who possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License are preferred, but not required.
