Description
This position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of the Michels Career Progression Program. Extreme responsiveness and strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication are critical for success in this position.
The essential duties and responsibilities for the position include the following:
- Create and/or modify job descriptions. Ensure best practices are followed: monitor market trends. Maintain awareness of current trends in regulatory requirements.
- Create or modify organizational charts. Work closely with divisional administrative support and IT to ensure accuracy in published product.
- Perform transactional data entry into systems with a high degree of accuracy. Scan, organize, and file documents.
- Provide administrative support to department: schedule complex, multi-attendee meetings, process mail, assist with correspondence, make copies, maintain standard department materials and manage distribution. Maintain department equipment.
- Assist with the administration of compensation progression plans and integration of those plans with cost of living and bonus processes.
- Conduct analysis of compensation programs. Document process and results. Provide recommendations for continual improvements in the program, enhance data integrity and compensation processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or one to three years of related experience specifically working in a Human Resources Department. In addition, demonstrated high level proficiency within Microsoft Word and Excel are mandatory. One must adhere to a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Other qualifications include effective oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to be self-motivated.
