How you will contribute:

This is a great opportunity to perfect your planning and organizing skills by supporting our Project Managers and Business Unit Leaders to collect appropriate data and prepare state and local reports and tax returns. Using company procedures and GAAP, you will develop, streamline and document processes and procedures as they relate to sales and property tax returns and audits. You will research and maintain compliance with state tax laws. You will create and complete tax form requests on jobs for materials as requested. This position will expand to assist with other general accounting duties including month end close.

What you need to qualify:

Ahern will help make the most of your Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance.Related internship and/ or work experience is required. Candidates with more experience will be able to fully utilize their knowledge and capabilities. Being proficient in Microsoft Office and possessing a thorough understanding of a general ledger structure will be essential. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment. A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial.Great organizational skills, a strong desire to work on a team, and the desire to continuously learn will serve you well in this role.
