Ahern, one of the leading mechanical and fire protection contractors in the United States, has an opportunity for a Service Sales Representative to drive growth within Ahern's Fire Systems and Equipment Fire Protection group. The role will be located in our Fond du Lac or Appleton office. The Fire Systems and Equipment group is one of the fastest growing business units in the organization! How you will contribute:

Leverage your customer service and relationship management skills by managing the current customer base and providing new customers with solutions to their fire alarm and special hazards fire protection needs. This will include following up with bids and working diligently to close sales. Apply your organization and detail orientation skills by quoting deficiencies, material sales, and add/move/change opportunites for the fire alarm and special hazard while project managing the project through completion which will include frequent site visits. Responsibilities will also include providing technical support for service calls and responding to questions from customers regarding inspection reports and deficiencies. Work will be performed in a fast-paced work environment with multiple jobs going on simultaneously. Managing and executing details will be critical to success of this role!

What you need to qualify:

You can stand out above other candidates by having at least two years of fire protection design or field experience. Prior experience working within the service environment is preferable. Candidates must have excellent communication, a high level of detail orientation, and organizational skills. Delivering the highest quality customer experience will be essential. NICET certification is preferred. The ability to obtain it will be required of candidates that do not have it. OSHA 10 hour training will be required within 90 days of the start of employment.
