Description
Grande Custom Ingredients Group, the ingredient business unit of Grande Cheese Company, is looking for a part-time Food Technology Assistant. This Assistant will provide our Food Technology team support in the laboratory. They will prepare demonstrations in support of sales by following food formulation and processing procedures, package and ship demonstrations to the sales team, troubleshoot, and enter results into our databases. This Assistant will possess a high attention to detail and timeliness. This Assistant will be responsible for the daily mundane tasks of preparation and clean-up in the lab. This Associate will work a rather flexible part-time schedule Monday – Friday, up to 20 hours per week.
Required Experience
We require a high school diploma or equivalent for this position. An Associate’s Degree with an emphasis in chemistry, microbiology, or similar discipline is preferred.
